It took me long enough...

Hello to everyone here at R.I.G.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am KnightOfMercury, an avid MMO player and lover of RP.

Mind you my name has nothing to do with any of my MMO character names, KoM has been my online forum name since 2001.

I've been playing MMOs for nearly 8 years now. I started with Guild Wars, where I was an Elementalist/Monk who was a Hydromancer on one side of the spectrum and a Healing Mage on the other side. I proved that Elementalist/Monks could main heal with no problem.

After nearly 2 years of it, I moved onto World of Warcraft and there I rolled the Mage and played it for the entire 5 years I played. I had alts of other classes but always came back to the raw Arcane Power. While my first WoW toon was a Human mage, my pride and joy is my Blood Elf Mage created in Burning Crusade.

I also tried Lord of the Rings (before it went F2P), Final Fantasy 11, and Aion. I BETA tested FF 14, but I couildn't see myself playing it after doing BETA.

I am currently not playing any MMOs and as my signature implies, SW:ToR will either make or break my MMO playing. But I have high hopes that it'll be apart of my life for a few years.

I'm actually a RL friend and Roommate with JedinWaiting, we've been stuck together since the begnning of our MMO days. When it came to our guild, he was the leader, and I was the background administrator and 2nd in command when he wasn't around. I'm proud of our guilds over the years.

As to RP, I am an avid player of D & D and love to play a support class aka The Bard. In fact, I ADORE the support and damage aspect of a Bard so for SW:ToR I will be rolling a Sith Inquisitor and will go Sorcerer AC with my focus in healing/support and just enough in damage to hold my own in an emergency.

Why not a Jedi Consular? For one thing I've heard/read enough about the Jedi viewpoint, I want to see the Sith View Point and experience the Sith.

I look forward to the many ideas and possibilities that this group can and will come up with!

Yo, glad to see you finally registered. lol Took you long enough! I have extra cookies if I have to hand some out. Curse you all and your cookie fee! Cookies don't bake themselves! I mean...not without enough heat!

If we ever arrange a RiG meeting in RL we should definitely get lots of cookies LOL.

Cookie Fees are not a problem. I have Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate, and Peanut Butter...take your pick!

Playing a WoW mage for PvP during the BC days was badass, people either rocked or sucked, personally I rocked!
