Forum Ranks?

Hi all

I was looking at the board options and thought maybe you guys wanted ranks to go with your avatar? If you have any thoughts on the matter and/or suggestions for rank names, please feel free to post them here. I assume most of you know how that works, but just in case ..

The ranks are determined from the amount of posts each of you have made. We can set that amount assigned to any chosen number. There's also the option to have some special ranks - maybe after some fun competitions or events later on?

The choice is yours. Do you want some fun ranks? If so, post your suggestions - we'll have a poll on them later for everyone to vote

But yeah seriously, I have always like forum ranks, it become like a personal goal to drive the forum admins crazy by continually posting more posts than their are ranks to cover, thus making them make up more for me, haha, hence the one above, hehehehe I settled with that /chuckle

Not sure what sort of ranks/titles would be appropriate. Can't really make it class based unless people can choose a line of titles to advance in. That would actually be a nice feature, and then have ranks for all 8 classes.

But I don't know how hard that may be.

That's a good idea, but the problem is the ranks will be assigned to a certain post count, meaning only one option per set amount of posts. There is a chance to have special ranks not assosiated with post count, though. But then we'd all have a special rank - of course we're all special

We can go all silly on the ranks or atleast keep it humorous, like SpaminaTOR (I know I'm asking for it!) or anything ...TOR.... How about it?

How about SWTOR DEVs ranks. As in we start off with somehow more or less unknown devs to one day go on to get the "Daniel Erickson" rank.

The SWTOR dev ranks is kind of a cool idea.

I think we should implement guild, faction and server later on in the profiles (maybe so it is showing sort of like a title while posting).
If this gets as big as we're hoping we're gonna need some overview
