Vent Server?

What about starting a vent server for people here on RIG? Most of them allow you to set up an external link for people to help pay in support. We could use it now for hangout purposes, discussions, even for people who do play the same game atm to organize hooking up in-game.

We use Instant Vintrilo...it's a little pricier than some but I like all the extra admin features. You can even post the code so it shows the vent on the main page of the RIG site so people can see who's in vent.

We've been talking about that, Cold...

Some players don't like the voice stuff, some do. I think, in here, it could be a great tool to just "shoot the breeze", and/or brainstorm ideas...

Absoluteleee... At some point after all we are going to have to showcase our weird voices to everyone else, right?

Just like the chat room, I feel like this is needed (at least at some point, but sooner is [almost] always better than later).

How are things with that - who knows how, what will it take, etc

I need to get with Cold, Lewg, and Kai...we can hash it out. I don't think we need to go "hog wild" just yet on it. Personally, this is just my opinion, I think we should work on getting it up and running ht early part of 2011. That way, by TOR launch, we'll have the "kinks" worked out of it

It's about running a channel with a constant flow of music put together by us (aka some of us). For the details however, I'm not the one to ask.
