Hmm. Well perhaps there's another way...I always thought that a vent broadcast was the easier way to do it. I mean..I wouldn't even have to be at my computer. I always tend to listen to kind of underground and less popular music....and then all my friends start liking it and listening to my music >.<

So basically if you like to be introduced to new music, or just hear a few classics that you haven't heard in a while, a broadcast vent station would be awesome and not all to different than say..tuning into Pandora...except you're listening to someone's music selection. I've always found it fun myself...both listening and broadcasting.

Yeah when I played wow we had a vent radio in our guild. It was a huge hit at its inception. It made raids pretty dam awesome to have music to jam out to while we grinded the same old instance for the umpteenth time.

I wasn't the administrator of that vent station but I'm sure I could learn the ins and outs of it. Lol guess I'll have to rip the rest of my cds onto my itunes.

What about a podcast? Podcasting is fairly easy to do, and would allow people to download and play at their leisure. I think there are ways of streaming live as well. Just a thought.

Agreed 100%. I had the same experience with my guild in wow. We all contributed to the vent playlist (well mostly me lol). We played awesome music during raids and guild pvp. It was total awesomeness.

And let us not forget that using vent would settle our problem of what medium we would use to talk to each other real-time when it came time to collaberate and organize our assault on TOR prelaunch!
