| Well? What the hell are you waiting for.. GO GET THE 3rd EPISODE NAO! Personally, I'm not sure what to think of the HBO series.. I'm getting the impression that anyone not familiar with the books will be bored. And it's going too fast! Having spent an entire month listening to the UNABRIDGED Game of Thrones audiobook, the story is on fast forward to me.  | |

| I saw a few people online who got people who haven't read the books to watch the show, they seems to like it too and aren't bored. In fact, I think it's the book readers who get bored first, we know what is going to happen... | |

| Can't say that I'm bored with the show, are you? I'm very much looking forward to seeing the awesome characters of the book come to life on the big screen. I love most of the actor choices (with a few exceptions). Have you seen the actor that's playing the Mountain that Rides? HOLY SPAGHETTI SAUCE...
About reading the books first, I'm not the person to ask. One part of me wants you to watch the show because its been great so far, yet another part wants you to go for the books. I wouldn't want the show ruining the great overall story, the world, the characters for you (hypothetically).

| Finally watched episode 3. I really liked the dance teacher.  As for the actors, Maisie Williams is really good so far as Arya and Dinklage simply awesome as Tyrion (but he's not ugly enough). Also, I didn't recognize Lena Heady at first, beside her voice (the blonde hair, I'm used to her Sarah Connor look...). The Mountain is 7.5 feet tall... | |

| Love the show, but have not read the books as yet. I always find its better to read the books after, so you don't spoil the story of the series, lol. The books are always much more in depth anyways and you pick up the things the series missed.  May go buy some of them now though as have watched one or two episodes now | |

| The first season is only the first book...they are big book.
Also, they will need to fix a quote in episode 3 taken right out of the book, because Arya is 11 years old, the Long Summer need to have lasted 11 years and not 9 like in the book.
