You might wanna include locations when the guilds decides on that. May not be important to all, but certainly to a lot of guild searcher. Smile

We're kinda hoping they will decide where they play according to decisions made by the RiG community.

I know lot's of choices are good but in a way I'm sad to see so many guilds (are we up to 9 or 10) for what is still a small community of a little over 100 members. I know the people here tend to be the leader types.

Two things I think would be useful for those looking for information on guilds. Firstly, not only whether their focus is PvE, PvP, or RP but how heavily invested in each are they. For example guild XXX may be light RP, casual PvP and hardcore Raiding.

Secondly, it would be nice to know the experience of the guild leaders. What guilds they have been a part of in what games, for how long and what the focuses of those guilds were. This kind of information might be better to be in the guild posts themselves.

True, it would be nice if everyone in those guilds actually registered here. How are we supposed to get to know them otherwise? Smile

If they don't have the time, no problem, still register and maybe just post a "hello, I'm here" in the forums.

Maybe as well, put what faction they're going to be primarily?

You might also want to list faction type -- aka: Empire, Republic, or multi-faction.

I will be down for anything, as long as lag is not a problem.

Well, it's something that can be important cause some people can't/may not be able to be on the same server, for various reasons. RL reasons or even because of separate region game installs?

It may not be needed, but I think it's a bit early to tell either way.

True. I do realize it's probably not an option for everybody. We should still try to limit the servers we all split on because 100/4 is less than 100/2.

We all are going to do our best, even should we not be on one server, we'll be sure to have the bulk as concentrated as possible.

We all gotta try our best to get all the "crew" in the same server first. I really don't mind playing on a Euro or US server, as long as we have the community.

(I don't speak for my entire guild, though)

I'd prefer a US server, hopefully one in california.

I think there will be a split in EU/US anyway. So best make sure that the ones from EU join on 1 server and US on theirs. We'll be too spread out if we want to make splits in RP/PVP/PVE servers.

The reason I say this is because of the time difference. Most likely the devs at SWTOR will make something similar of a WoW structure considering servers. Which means US and EU are separated. In this case it will be hard to raid at similar times etc. If the devs decide there will be no split in EU/US servers then ofcourse this won't matter. But I find that hard to believe. I guess we'll see what they come up with.
