A blog about flashpoint and Jesse Sky almost beat William Wallace.

You should never feel like a cog in a loot-generation machine – you’re a champion of the Sith or a hero of the Republic.
For me, this quote in Jesse's article really stands out. The reason: after WoW had introduced Dungeon Finder, dungeons stopped being places of adventure, exploration and socialising. They became a conveyor belt of mobs, bosses, loot and emblems we ran ad infinitum; a place where pixels > people.

I really hope Bioware brings back the original feeling.

I kinda enjoyed this week's update. I also miss some of the more fun times of just getting groups together in WoW. I loved the lfg tool, but I missed the travelling and camarderie those travel times built. I really hope flashpoints and SW really bring back an epic feeling in MMO's

Disclaimer
Goodkind was onto something when he wrote "people will believe a thing either because they want it to be true or because they fear it might be true." Here I'm expressing a fear that may have no validity when the game releases.

TL;DR Version
My concern is that given the amount of development time going into Flashpoints, the fact that they are meant to be more challenging than the the average day-to-day activities, and also that Bioware seems to be refining rather than redefining the WoW MMO model, are these Flashpoints going to become part of an end game grind? I know they talked about having something special in mind for end-game, but...

GAH!!! I really want Bioware to release something about their end-game plans already!

Ye, it seems like it will be like you said. Which makes me a bit worried too.
I don't think I would like to grind the same dialogues and cut scenes week after week after week. :\ But anyway I've raided in WoW and it was a mindless grind for loot... I think I'll be fine in TOR.

Lets wait for the End-Game plans. *.*
